Pargasite and Pink Spinel Crystals on Calcite Marble

Pargasite and Pink Spinel Crystals on Calcite Marble 韭角閃石 、粉紅尖晶石、方解石大理石上共生 Spinel is the magnesium aluminium member of the larger spinel group of minerals with chemical formula MgAl₂O₄ This oxide mineral is Cubic crystal system with 7.5–8.0 hardness according to Mohs hardness scale. Spinels Specific Gravity is depending on the composition of chemicals such as Zn-rich spinel can be as high as 4.40, otherwise it averages from 3.58 to 3.61. Spinel has many colours such as red, pink, blue, lavender/violet, dark green, brown, black, colourless, gray. Some red and pink spinels have fluorescence under UV Light. also, Some spinels have magnetism Weak to medium. Spinels are found in Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Myanmar, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria. Pargasite is a complex inosilicate mineral of the amphibole group with formula NaCa₂O₂₂(OH)₂. This inosilicates mineral has 5 - 6 hardness according to the Mohs Hardness scale with 3.04–3.17 Specific Gravity. This bi axial mineral has colours such as Bluish green, grayish black, light brown, Green. It was first described for an occurrence in Pargas, Finland in 1814 and named for the locality. Pargasites are found in Pinland, Vietnam, Madagascar, Tanzania, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Mozambique, Hungary, Japan, Bulgaria, Cameroon. Descriptions Weight : 58.90 Cts Locality : Vietnam 🇻🇳
