From the mineral-rich lands of Nivithigala village around mining in Sri Lanka, a 4.80 ct rough blue sapphire began its journey — an unheated crystal of natural brilliance and promise. Carefully examined and preformed by the Danu Group owner, the stone was then handed to one of our experienced cutters, Mr. Kithsiri, whose precise artistry brought out its finest symmetry and luster.
After the delicate transformation, a 1.72 ct cushion-cut sapphire was born, displaying exceptional luster, amazing blue tone, and loupe-clean clarity. Its every facet reflects patience and skill — a work of both science and soul. Certified by CSL (Colored Stone Laboratory), this unheated gem stands as a pure representation of Sri Lanka’s gemological heritage.
