Green Sinhalite
Green Sinhalite
Green Sinhalite is an extremely rare variety of sinhalite, distinguished by its subtle green to greenish-yellow tones and refined brilliance. While sinhalite is best known for its golden hues, green sinhalite is highly prized by collectors and gemstone enthusiasts due to its scarcity and elegant appearance.
Green sinhalite gemstones are typically transparent with good luster, making them suitable for fine jewelry such as rings, pendants, and earrings. Their soft green coloration offers a sophisticated alternative to more common green gemstones.
This category features natural green sinhalite gemstones carefully selected for color quality, clarity, and overall beauty.

Green Sinhalite
Exceptionally rare gemstone with subtle green brilliance.
About Green Sinhalite Gemstones
Green Sinhalite is a magnesium aluminum borate mineral and is closely related to yellow sinhalite and chrysoberyl. Its green coloration is naturally occurring and often very subtle, ranging from pale green to greenish-yellow.
With a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, green sinhalite is durable enough for most jewelry applications when set securely. The finest and rarest specimens originate from Sri Lanka, with limited deposits found elsewhere. Green sinhalite is typically untreated, increasing its desirability and value.
Green sinhalite is associated with balance, renewal, and clarity, making it an excellent choice for refined and meaningful jewelry designs.
