Sourced directly from Hangamuwa village in the Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka, this spinel began its journey as a 4.73 carat natural, unheated rough, found through traditional village-based mining. Before cutting, the rough crystal showed strong internal potential, but also required deep understanding to preserve its character. Through precise lapidary work, the stone was transformed into a 1.65 carat hexagon-cut spinel, measuring 7.22 × 8.38 × 4.30 mm, revealing a refined greenish-blue hue with remarkable depth and balance.

This stone is completely natural and unheated, with a VVS clarity grade, placing it among the higher-quality spinels available today. Its hexagonal cut is not chosen for trend — it is chosen to respect the crystal’s natural geometry, maximizing light return while maintaining weight integrity.
