Carnelian is a silica mineral with chemical formula silicon dioxide, SiO_2. When you have tension, your heartbeat speed increases.

Carnelian is a brownish-red or Orangy Red mineral variety of the silica mineral chalcedony colored by impurities of iron oxide Carnelian is created when liquid magma from a volcanic explosion cools down and transforms into igneous rock. During this cooling down period, silica acid bubbles shift from being a gas/liquid into a solid compound.

Carnelian hardness is 6-7 according to the Mohs Hardness scale with 2.59–2.61 specific gravity. It is found colors such as Brownish-red, Orangy-red, Deep-red.
